Dr. Aditya Gupta is an AIIMS-trained neurosurgeon (MBBS 1994, M.Ch Neurosurgery 1999) and a former Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at AIIMS until 2009, before co-founding the Institute of Neurosciences at Medanta and serving as its Additional Director of Neurosurgery until 2016. He completed advanced training at the University of Amsterdam, Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière (Paris), Université de Marseille, Wake Forest University (USA) and the University of Kiel (Germany), and a fellowship at CJW Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia. Per the Artemis page he has performed over 10,000 brain-tumour surgeries and more than 6,000 radiosurgery procedures (extensive experience with Gamma Knife, CyberKnife and LINAC), and treats international patients from across Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and South Asia.
