Dr. (Prof.) Amit Javed is an expert gastrointestinal, GI-cancer and bariatric surgeon with over 25 years of experience, trained at Kasturba Medical College (MBBS), PGIMER Chandigarh (MS) and AIIMS New Delhi (M.Ch GI Surgery); he is ECFMG-certified and was awarded the FACS by the American College of Surgeons. His listed faculty posts include the Department of GI Surgery at GB Pant Institute of PGIMER, New Delhi, an Assistant Professor role in Abdominal Transplant Surgery at UCSF, USA, and a stint in the Thoracic division of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York.
