Dr. Giriraj Bora

Dr. Giriraj Bora chairs Liver Transplant at Artemis and is senior consultant in GI & HPB Surgery. He is a founding member of the Liver Transplant Society of India and joined Artemis in 2016, where he helped develop one of India's most advanced liver units — the only centre in the country to perform both pure laparoscopic and pure robotic liver-donor surgeries. Per the Artemis page he performed the first liver transplant in Rajasthan (both first living-donor and first deceased-donor in the state) and has over 2,000 liver transplants to his credit, with the unit also performing liver transplants in small babies and treating patients from more than 20 countries.
