Dr. Serkan Aygın

Dr. Serkan Aygın has worked in hair-loss treatment and hair transplantation since 1996, making him one of the first surgeons in Turkey to specialise in the field. He was an early adopter of follicular unit extraction (FUE) and has helped refine direct hair implantation (DHI) for natural, dense hairlines. Over his career he has treated more than 10,000 patients from across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and beyond at his dedicated clinic in the Şişli district of Istanbul. In 2019 he received the European Award in Medicine for Hair Transplant Surgery in Paris, and he has presented his techniques at international hair-restoration conferences. He personally plans every case — assessing donor density, designing the hairline and setting the graft count — and is known for a conservative, natural-looking approach rather than overharvesting the donor area.
