Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Gupta

Dr. Subhash Gupta chairs the Max Centre for Liver and Biliary Sciences, which Max's page describes as one of the largest liver transplant centres in the world with experience of over 3,000 transplants, currently performing over 200 transplants and an equal number of complex HPB cases annually. He trained at AIIMS New Delhi and has over 30 years of experience in surgical gastroenterology, liver transplantation and HPB oncology, with prior tenures at Indraprastha Apollo, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and UK centres at Leeds and Birmingham. His recognitions include the Dr B.C. Roy award (2016) and the Yash Bharti award (2016).
