Why Egyptian Patients Choose Treatment Abroad

Turkey: 2 Hours From Cairo, Fully Halal & Arabic-Speaking

Istanbul and Ankara are a 2-hour direct flight from Cairo. Turkish hospitals like Acıbadem, Anadolu, Memorial, and Medipol have Arabic international-patient departments, mosques on-site, halal-certified catering, and Qibla direction marked in patient rooms. e-Visa is free for Egyptian citizens (with valid Schengen/US/UK visa or residence). For Egyptian patients this is the most natural destination for cancer care, cardiac surgery, and orthopedics.

Advanced Procedures Not Available At Scale Domestically

Liver transplant, bone marrow transplant, CyberKnife radiosurgery, robotic oncology, and complex pediatric cardiac surgery are concentrated in select global centers — many in our India/Turkey partner network. Egypt has excellent medical infrastructure for routine procedures but these high-acuity treatments are referred abroad. We connect Egyptian patients to the right surgical team for their case.

Cost Savings of 50-70%

CABG in Turkey costs $9,000-$14,000; in India $5,500-$8,000. Knee replacement in Turkey $5,500-$7,500; India $4,000-$6,000. Cancer treatment (CyberKnife + robotic oncology): India $6,000-$15,000. We send a written estimate within 24 hours of receiving your medical reports — no obligation, no service fees, no commission on the hospital price.

Arabic-Speaking Coordinator End-to-End

A dedicated Arabic-speaking coordinator handles medical report translation, doctor appointments, hotel near the hospital, airport pickup, and follow-up plan back in Egypt. Same coordinator from first WhatsApp message through post-treatment follow-up. Everything is free; we never add commission to the hospital price.

Recommended Destinations

Turkey

The natural choice for Egyptian patients. 2-hour direct flights from Cairo to Istanbul (EgyptAir + Turkish Airlines daily). Arabic spoken at Acıbadem, Anadolu, Memorial, Medipol. Halal infrastructure is the default; mosques on hospital grounds; Qibla direction in patient rooms. Best for cancer care, cardiac surgery, orthopedics, and cosmetic procedures.

India

Best value for complex transplants (liver, bone marrow) and high-acuity cancer care. 5-6 hour flights from Cairo to Delhi or Mumbai. Top hospitals: Medanta (Gurugram), Fortis (Delhi/Mumbai), Apollo (Chennai), Max (Delhi NCR), Narayana (Bangalore) — all with international-patient departments halal-friendly and English-speaking medical staff.

Visa & Travel Information

Egyptian citizens can travel to Turkey on an e-Visa (free with valid Schengen/US/UK visa or residence, otherwise a 30-day single-entry e-Visa ~$60). India offers a medical visa (Med-Visa) — 5-7 business days with hospital letter (which we arrange). We handle all visa documentation, hospital invitation letters, medical report translation, and form filling. If a visa is refused (rare with our paperwork), we retry at no charge.

Patient Success Stories

After being quoted $45,000 for knee replacement in the US, I found Travel4Treatment. They connected me with a top orthopedic hospital in India where I had surgery for $7,500. Six months later, I'm back to hiking with no pain. The hospital was world-class and doctor was US-trained.

I researched cosmetic surgery for years but couldn't justify the $18,000 price tag. Travel4Treatment arranged my care at Malo Clinic in Portugal for less than $9,000. The quality was exceptional, and I extended my stay to enjoy Lisbon. Best decision I ever made!
